Appearance
Like all Primaris Astartes, Gadriel is BUILT. He's average height for a Primaris, and about average build. He has grey eyes and grey hair, and significant facial scarring. The front of his chest would show the shadow of the Black Carapace, and his body, including the back of his head, has a series of circular ports, where his armor connects to the Carapace.Personality
He grew up on Talassar, and left home by the age of ten, to make the pilgrimage, alone, to become one of the Astartes. We know from canon that he feels his family is a source of shame and ignominy and that's why he clings so hard to honor and courage. Becoming an Astartes also includes a great deal of hypnoindoctrination, which at one level helps him to control his Astartes organs, but also, just between you and me, there's a WEE bit of brainwashing going on there. Like all Ultramarines, he affirms daily that it is his duty to fight and die for the Emperor and the Imperium.Abilities
