I'll let you know. I'll see you tomorrow.

Tomorrow came, but Night Sky did not arrive until the evening hours, accompanied by both of her dogs so they did not get bored and tear up the treehouse.

As per usual, she was in her regular floral attire, a bow slung over her back along with a good amount of arrows. Given how he hadn't moved very far from his original camp, he wasn't difficult to find. Night Sky greeted him with a wave as she stepped out from the trees.

"You've upgraded since the last time I visited."

Night Sky was more a nocturnal creature anyway. Didn't make for ideal hunting, but the creatures of Caldera didn't abide by the laws of most realms. They'd get something one way or another.

"It's good to see you, too." She smiled and stepped closer, the dogs on her heels, sniffing around the campsite. They smelled cats. Multiple cats. The dryad opened her arms for a hug from the Astartes. "Melinoƫ? Ooh. Sounds like someone has a giiiirlfriend."

She liked hugs. And they were friends, even if things had been... odd for a while now.

Night Sky grinned as she leaned back to look up at him. "Yeah? Sounds like your kind of girl. I'm happy for you, big guy!"

He wasn't the only one. Night Sky didn't want to lose any friendships if it could be avoided, though.

"We always put the people we love through a lot more than we plan to." She said with a knowing smile. "You missed my antlers falling off and growing back in." She chuckled. "The flowers always match the season. Soon I'll be brown and red."
